No. I am Fairway's President of Recruiting — a corporate role, not a producing one, and I do not hold an NMLS originator license. I spent my career in production leadership and branch business development, which is exactly why I can tell you what the platform does for an originator without selling you a loan.
A fair question, because a lot of “recruiters” in this industry are producers hiring for their own branch.
I am not an originator. My role is President of Recruiting at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation — national, corporate, and non-producing. I do not carry an originator license and I am not building a branch of my own.
Why that matters to you. I do not have a quota in your market and I am not competing with you for agents. When I tell you a market is a fit — or isn’t — there is no angle in it for me.
